Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 29th, 2026
Last Updated: July 29th, 2026

KJMP LLC (“KJMP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website located at https://www.kjmp.org (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from visitors to the Site, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

This policy applies only to information collected through the Site itself. It does not describe how KJMP handles data in the course of client engagements or consulting work, which is governed separately by applicable client agreements.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Server Log Data

When you visit the Site, our web server automatically records certain information in standard server access logs. This happens for every visitor, automatically, as a function of how web servers operate — it is not something you actively submit. This may include:

  • Your IP address
  • The date and time of your visit
  • The pages you requested
  • The referring website or search term that led you to the Site (if any)
  • Your browser type and operating system (user agent string)

We use this information for:

  • Site security — detecting and responding to abuse, attacks, or unauthorized access attempts
  • Troubleshooting — diagnosing technical errors and site performance issues
  • Basic traffic understanding — seeing which pages are visited and in what volume

We do not currently use cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics scripts to collect this data — it comes solely from our web server’s built-in logging.

1.2 Information You Provide Directly

If you contact us by email or phone using the details on our Contact Us page, we receive whatever information you choose to include in that communication (e.g., your name, email address, and message content). We use this solely to respond to your inquiry.

1.3 What We Do Not Collect

We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes, and we do not sell, rent, or share visitor information with third parties for marketing purposes.

2. How Long We Keep This Data

Server log data is retained for approximately 7 days and then automatically deleted through routine log rotation by our hosting provider. We do not maintain a permanent, indefinite archive of raw visitor logs.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (EU/EEA Visitors)

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, our legal basis for processing server log data is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) — specifically, our interest in maintaining the security, functionality, and integrity of the Site. We have determined this interest is not overridden by your rights and freedoms, given the limited scope of data collected and our limited retention period.

4. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including:

  • Access — requesting a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Deletion — requesting that we delete data we hold about you
  • Correction — requesting correction of inaccurate data
  • Objection — objecting to our processing of your data based on legitimate interest

Because server log data is not linked to a name or account, requests to access, delete, or correct it may be limited by our ability to locate your specific entry (e.g., by approximate date/time of visit and IP address). To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 8.

If you are a California resident, you may also have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect server log data, including restricting access to authorized administrators only and relying on our hosting provider’s security infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Third-Party Hosting Provider

Our Site is hosted by DreamHost. Server log data is generated and stored on infrastructure operated by DreamHost. Please note that hosting providers may have their own data handling practices as part of providing the underlying infrastructure.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
